Good books to read

So I’ve been reading on Wattpad for 4 years and I’ve read some great and terrible books.

Today an author I read from shared some great news that her book will possibly turn into a tv series :o :love:

This topic is to share recommendations of books of any genre to read on any platform. Also share what books you think would make great movies or tv shows (and what you’d do to make it great, like who you think the cast should be etc).

My first suggestion would be Storm and Silence series by Rob Thier. I don’t want to spoil it but I will say it’s humorous, adventurous and has romance. I have read his books on Wattpad and Radish but I’m pretty sure for the first one you can get a hard copy. Radish has some rules so I think he doesn’t update this series on Wattpad anymore (unsure) but he does have another series and a few stand alone books. He is currently working on the 5th in the series (6th I think counting a special book set before the events of the main character) called ‘Hunting for Silence’ but you do have to pay to get coins to unlock chapters.

Why I like Gothic: simply because it uncovers the mysteries and grotesqueness of the reality. Whenever it comes to a narration, a story is being told in a manner of suspence and awe. I choose metaphors to analyze when I write my essay for me in any literary text, though I hate writing generally.

Hi guys,

I liked A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. I'm not an avid reader, I should confess, especially when it's a homework assignment on Literature or college related books. But from time to time, I come across a book or two that may excite me. Black comedies and the Gothic tradition are my favorite genres.
My Gothic list:

My Father's Mask by Joe Hill;
The Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole;
Dracula by Bram Stoker (of course)

I love reading online, though hard copies are the best. But when you're an addict like me and that you're confined at home, reading online becomes the best invention of man after the fire (since we need to cook) and comfy toilets. A book I will like to suggest to you is Trial Marriage Husband: Need to Work Hard

That book is a bop! It's very long but you can never get bored with it. The suspense that each chapter contains is enough to make you dream of possibilities that may happen in the book at night. It is a mixture of Romance, Action, Humour... Everything to have you glued at your screen for the next month.

I read the whole series! I am so happy now that Sir Ambrose and Lillian are
married!
Sir Rob Thier has that hand, his writing is so clean plus the series itself is very educative.

My f a v o r i t e book ever has got to be "A Monster Calls" written by Patrick Ness. It is a picture book, and is about a boy's perspective in a world where his mother is dying. It. Is. Amazing.

I like Pride and Prejudice, singing in the thorn. I've read it many times. But I like it.
