A Little Bit of London

Ive always wanted to start a diary! So here it is:

Hey there. LittleMissLondon here, just another day in the life of me. Most of you probably know me, but you don’t. The reason is because I changed my name recently from IcecreamSlamwich to LittleMissLondon. If you still didn’t know me even before, here’s a short bio:

I’m a college student from London, England, UK. I LOVE doing calligraphy which is decorative handwritten lettering. I also love poetry, baking, and ice skating. I go by whatever you want to call me as long as it makes sense (London, Missy, Ice- Old nickname) Whatever you feel like.

Anyway, that’s me: 20 year old college student from London, trying to find her place in the world.
Now for my signature poem on the way out:

The rain pours down, in a familiar way
I look outside: Another rainy London day

Double Decker Buses roam London's streets
Seas of umbrellaed people wet from head to feet

Big bens towers showered with rain
Bus drivers trying to stay in their lane

London’s wet days are far from gone
It will rain from now till dawn

But at least one thing is clear
London is my home no matter how miserable it may appear

Happy Halloween! Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!

Most people think Halloween is all about the candy (which it is in my heart) but Halloween is actually the observance of Allhallowtide. Allhallowtide is the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. In easier words its a day to remember the dead. Before people turned it into the holiday of candy in fun it was a celebration for the Christians to remember the dead.

Some activities people do on Halloween (that you know and love) are:

- Trick or Treating
- Watching Horror movies
- Dressing Up in costumes
- Costume Parties


Now that I have bored you with the history of Halloween, what do you do on Halloween? This year Im making a village of Ginger-Boo houses (Spooky Gingerbread Houses) and watching some horror movies.

Now for what everyones been waiting for (not really but Im doing it anyway) A Halloween Poem:

When witches go riding
And Black cats are seen
The Moon laughs and whispers
'Tis almost Halloween

Is it just me or is the new event UGLY! I dont think LP was thinking when they decided on the event. Some of the stuff is decent, but with its price theres no way Im buying it. What do you think?

I won't try too hard to buy everything.
Some items are cool and can be used for themed dressups.
Overall, I'm disappointed too.

I agree some of the stuff would be good for themed dress up. The only thing I plan on buying is the 9 diamond red sari? Sorry if its not a sari, idk. But lets just say this event wont be one I hope to get in boutiques
