So, got know that Halloween is celebrated for remembering the dead. So I looked for poems about dead and I couldn't find the ones I could relate to.
So I am just going to write one about my fallen best friend. She died this year on 25th April 2020. I know today, again I'll be dreaming of her. It's been a sequence whenever I miss her or think about her she somehow manages to appear in my dreams and then I see her Mom out of no where. I have never had these dreams before so if someone with similar experiences please tell me how to deal, I'm unable to. I feel she's trying to give me a message I can't understand at all. I know she can't see this poem that I'll be writing for her but...
I remember the last time I saw her was when I fought with her. And the next week after I moved to another place. I didn't even got to say goodbye to her and the next thing I hear is she passed away.

Yesterday, I visited our park where we used to sit on the top of the slide and bicker
I sat the top of the slide again
Hoping that you'll climb and sit again
But who knew you'll go somewhere so far
Beneath the moon, among the stars

I sat on the top and looked at the stars
Thought that maybe once?
Maybe once, from there you'll say a hi
Wipe my tears and tell me not to cry
Comfort me and tell me it's not goodbye

Thought you would tell me
That it is okay
It is okay, we will meet again
Right there in the sky
When you'll look at me I'll say a hi

Every star is going to tell you stories
Stories about how moon has become my homie
And don't dare you think I'm alone
I have a hundred thousand stars along
Each one has a different story
But here we all are making a whole new story

Thought that you would tell me
It's okay,
Climb the slide and sit on the top again
Don't worry,
I'll be sitting next to you again

Tell me all your stories

And I'll tell you what to do just the I used to do

Then reality slapped me in the face
She is gone, she is not coming back again
And here I am consumed with guilt
Guilty, that I did a fight
Guilty, I will never get to apologize
Guilty, I won't be able to boast that she is my best friend
Guilty that, I didn't even get to say a goodbye

So, today I wanted to post poem about my favorite flower. Roses. I don't know why, but I really love roses. I'll be even getting a tattoo of a rose on my left shoulder with the quote of Vincent Van Gogh, "Normality is a paved road, its comfortable to walk; no flower grows".
My reasons behind loving Roses is with the Roses comes the thorns. And you have no right to love the rose if you can't appreciate and love the thorns, "With beauty comes pain". I'm getting a rose tattoo is because that will be a reminder to me that I am looking for my Roses in my life. We all are messed up in some or the other way but that's the beauty of each one of us. I've seen this a lot that, people usually make fun of your flaws rather than appreciating and telling them that they are proud of them. I've seen people saying "I love you" the one moment and taunting them about their flaws in other. I can't emphasize enough, you have no right to love anyone unless you can love and appreciate their flaws. Our flaws is what makes us beautiful. What makes us special. Never five fingers on your hand will be the same, how can you expect one person exactly same as the others?
For me, Roses also depict my personality wild and passionate. I'm spontaneous, I love doing things unplanned and undecided. Because I feel that's the only way to live your life, if you'll keep thinking when will you live? And passionate because if I love, I make sure I do it everyday, with the same perfection. Soo, yeah, roses it is today.

Initial interpretation: This is about (yandere?) unrequited love. The tone of this poem somewhat resembles pining-he's longing, he's drunk on the scent, he's bleeding on the thorns. He's destroying himself with his love. So although I don't think this is a 'romantic' type of rose per say, it does match a rose that beautiful but dangerous.

Have you ever seen such beauty?
as she was the flourishing rose,
watered with love soft as a plume;
her lips delectable with taste fruity?

Have you ever seen so much insistence?
Invisible man with a watering can in his hands,
longing for the day she would become his;
yet, at such a large distance?

Have you seen such self neglect?
Cactus, spiky as rose thorn-
convinced he doesn't need the carbon dioxide,
without his own water he is wrecked.

Have you ever seen so much sadness?
Rose doesn't notice cactus, the
classical fairy tale. But this time,
at least I think,
there isn't any happy ending.
