This might work better if you choose "winner" of each one of 10 parts. It seams everyone has been writing the first part not knowing it has already been written by someone else.
Maybe give a 2 day deadline for each part and then choose which lady's story we should continue.
Tea, please!

No? As of now there are 3 continous parts. Gaia's followed by marianogilmore and mine. If people can't follow the rules their entry simply doesn't count :) i am sure we will get 7 more ladies to continue :)

"...please find your wayward cousin that was tricked into taking a poppy from the garden and is now wandering lost in one of the levels of the underworld."

Hercules gave a sad sigh of understanding. those flowers have caused many souls to lose their way once picked.

After studying the magically created picture of said cousin, a person bruised, disheveled, and bleeding, he gave his proper agreements and goodbyes, he set off for the garden.

Hercules didn't know where to even find that garden. Only clue he was given was to follow specific song that his half sister sang to him. He was instructed to wait for it there in Acrocorinth and so he did. In the middle of the night he heard the beautiful melody and followed the voice which appeared to be moving away. It led him to a beautiful big house, clearly belonging to aristocrats. The melody was sang by beautiful lady.

Athena

"Hey, wait for me" he called as she almost dissapeared behind the gates. She was visibly content with seeing such a muscular guy and she kept giggling at him while they introduced to eachother. She was named after goddess Athena and she invited him for dinner, where he met her whole family including sisters named Demeter and Kore. He learnt that the family took care of the Demeter's and Persephone's temple and was really devoted to them as the choice of names suggests. "We have a special garden behind our home. This is supposed to be a secret but ours is Demeter's garden that is connected to Persephone's underworld one," Athena whispered into his ear, probably wanting to impress her new love interest.

Hercules began asking questions and wanted to see the garden, explaining his mission but conviniently forgot to mention WHY or for WHO he needs Cerberus's eyes. Athena led him to the garden at night, since her sisters would never approve of stranger visiting the sacred garden. There was a seemingly endless well there whose blocks had rough edges and Hercules convinced his host to let him climb down, using the wall as climbing wall. She promised to keep it a secret and wished him goodbye as he began climbing down to the underworld. The garden was supposed to be right above Persephone's one and he could only hope there will be no ugly suprises on the way down but right towards the end he lost his grip and started falling...

Will he get down safely? will he found the wandering cousin? Will Athena keep her promise? We won't know until next chapter...

Re: Hercules : The legendary journeys

Hercules feels a rush of cold air suffocating him as he descends into what seems like an endless pit. After minutes of falling with repeated failed attempts to grab onto the walls to slow down, the young demigod hit a pomegranate tree’s branch. The branch made a loud creak sound and collapsed with Hercules onto the floor of Persephone's underworld garden. This garden was different from the one up above, with only one pomegranate tree and the rest of the space being filled with black carnation flowers and rugged soil. It was a continuation of Persephone's garden on Earth, and Hades would use the fruits from this sole tree to keep her happy during the months she stayed with him. Hercules attempts to stand up but he isn’t able to. His leg feels an immense aching pain. As he looks down, he finds a deep cut from a sharp piece of branch wood which perforated his left leg. He pulls the wood out and decides to rest for a couple of minutes to heal.

While Hercules rested, a group of Crocotta monsters (who have a great sense of smell and ability to mimic human-like voice to manipulate mortals into thinking they are humans) approached him. Hercules’ bleeding wound was likely the reason the beasts were able to spot him out, and now he had nowhere to go or hide. A Crocotta grabs Hercules’s chiton with its large and malodorous mouth, dragging him towards a dim cavern while the other Crocottas followed behind, making sounds of celebration over the new caught prisoner. Inside the cavern, there’s piles of broken bones and a smell of raw human flesh. Hercules hears a dead man scream in desperation while being eaten alive by three hungry beasts, furiously ripping him apart without mercy. Close by, a familiar face appears, being no other than the lost cousin he promised Persephone he was going to bring back to Earth. Hercules checks again his left leg and realizes that it is almost all healed now. He is a demigod after all, and with that comes the benefits of fast healing and super-strength.

He doesn’t waste any time and stands up ready to fight. He grabs one beast behind him by the head and flips it forwards onto the floor. He breaks the beast’s two front teeth and uses them as weapons to kill the others. The mortal prisoners also start to help by grabbing dirt from the ground and throwing on the beasts’ eyes to blind them. Once they defeat most of the beasts (some alive but too injured to fight back) Hercules calls the prisoners out the cave to escape. When they are away at a safe distance, Hercules grabs a hold of the lost cousin and introduces himself, taking that time to also disclose his journey. The cousin, also known as Ares, decides to help Hercules kill the Cerberus, mentioning that it’s the least he could do after Hercules just saved his life. But first, Ares claims he must go get a very valuable object.

What is the object the lost cousin needs to get? Will the remaining Crocottas come back for revenge? Is there still going to be betrayal as Charon predicted? Will Athena keep her promise? Will Hercules make it in time to save his sick beloved? And what is the witch's unknow request? To be continued.

The remaining Crocottas got outsmarted by the duo and were lead towards there downfall...Now moving on...
Ares the lost cousin - The God of War as we know him, desired the Harpes. The harpe sword is most notably identified as the weapon used by Cronus to castrate and depose his father, Uranus. Alternately, that weapon is identified as a more traditional sickle or scythe. The harpe, scythe or sickle was either a flint or adamantine (diamond) blade, and was provided to Cronus by his mother, Gaia. According to an ancient myth, Uranus had cast his and Gaia's children, the Cyclopes and Hecatonchires, down into Tartarus. Now the Harpe sword was burried along with those obnoxious creatures in the Tartarus. Hercules had no option but to help Ares find it. But little did Hercules know, what was actually going on in Ares's filthy mind. But Hercules was not such as simpleton as Ares thought he was. It did not even take him a second to realise what his true intentions were.

In the next few chapters - Get to know how Hercules outsmarts Ares, will he be able to save the lady of his dreams on time?

It counts I think. Claudia mentioned not to exceed 3 paragraphs, not that it should be at least 3. But I definitely recommend writing 3 paragraphs from now on since we only have three entries left. We still need to get Ares's Harpes from Tartarus (another battle scene against creatures as Classy Queen mentioned and possibly Ares's betrayal), then kill Cerberus/ get the eyes (additional battle scene), get back on Earth to return to witch (get the cure), save loved one, fulfill witch's request. lol that's a handful!
