@ RaraChii - your mother is probably right, you can't know a man in 15 months. My advice is to take good care of yourself, and remember you are still 16 years old and you have your life ahead of you. Mybe it's true love, maybe it's not... do not rush into a decision that could harm you - I am not saying that it will, but be cautios.

But all love is true love, isn't it? Even if it's love that you later look back at and regret, or you think "jeez what in the world did I ever see in them!?", you did love them at that time. Implying true love doesn't exist would imply that all love was based on fake feelings, people lying about what they really think about each other.

And then there's also that not all love is the same as being 'in' love. There's the love for your family and your friends... which I believe to be generally very true.

I agree with Viks! It does for exist :) well i know this because i've been dating my boyfriend for one and a half years now. he's 18 and i can say he's alot mature than all guys his age :) he lives alone here in Sri lanka with his aunt and uncle while his parents are in bangladesh. so i guess he has learnt alot more about life than guys his age. he's amazingly caring and nice and sometimes i take him for granted :'( cuz i have that strong reassurance that he'll always be there.. sometimes his over protectiveness can be unbearable.. especially when it takes me a while to realise he only does it cuz he lvoes me :P

True love exists, however it doesn't happen as easily as it does in the movies. You may meet someone, and not feel sparks at first. It takes time to really get to know and connect to someone. True love is being able to sit together in silence and feel completely comfortable not speaking with words.

I have been blessed with an amazing husband who I love with all my heart. He's kind, sweet, good hearted, strong, tenacious, willing to help others. Yes he has his faults as we all do. I love him with all his flaws and all the beauty in his heart. So yes I believe true love exists.
