Sorry, didn't realize you wanted them back.

If "you can't judge a book by it's cover", why do they pay people to design book covers?

Wind starts with "W"...duh!
Unless you're talking about farts. Then wind starts with putting food in your mouth.

If there are windsocks, are there also windshoes?

How does that work? It seems to work very well.

Her clothes are made up of millions of nanobots which are able to change appearance in an instant.

I don't know if this question has ever been answered, but "who let the dogs out?".

I did. They needed to play outside.

Why is New York called the Big Apple? There aren't any abnormally large fruits anywhere to be seen!

I was hoping someone else would answer this, but after extensive investigation, here are my findings:
In the mid 16th century, on his way to Canada, the world renowned French explorer Jacques Dans La Boite landed at New York City. He was met with great fanfare. The English speaking mayor asked Jacques' opinion of New York City. With a heavy French accent, Jacques replied, "bagatelle" (which actually means something of little importance). The mayor misunderstood, and thought he said "Big Apple", and thought that sounded like a good nickname for the city. And after all these years that nickname is still used.

Something a little simpler:
How do you handcuff a one armed man?
