#Back to School!
Starting a new school today! Called IQ Academy. I am taking 4 classes, Journalism, Geography, Personal Finances(barf), and Forensic Science. Since I am starting late in this school and have no existing grade in these classes I have to do twice the amount of work to get caught up. But the plus side is that by the 2nd semester of next year I will be able to start P.S.E.O. (getting collage credits) so technically I could end up with a Associates Degree by the end of high school if I bust my but in school! BTW I got the volunteering position at the library! Yay me! Got to get back to school 'cause I took a brake to write this post.

I got inspired to write this post because someone commented, in the chatbox, that she was board because her grandmother was talking about family history. Well JLK family history is not boring. At least not to me. I have personaly tracked my family history back 11 generations! The earliest record that I have of my family is Knut Vetlesson Rynjom who was born in Norway in 1665! How awesome is that!!!! See, it is NOT boring to learn about family history!

I didn't read any good books since my last post so...

#Stress
I am stressed with school. Since I am playing catch up w/school I have to double or even triple the amount of work. I'm even getting stress pimples! I normal don't have a lot of pimples. Now I have one on my cheek( I NEVER get pimples on my cheeks), 2 on my nose, some on my forehead and nose and chin! I RARELY get this amount of pimples! All I can do is keep the acne cream coming. And another thing that is frustrating is that I have been getting 100% on 7 Quizzes in Geography strait then on one quiz I get a 70%!!!!!!!! A C! My grandma said it was a OK because a C is Average! Well....THAT didn't help me feel any better! I thought my mom was going to be mad or something but she wasn't because she said that she new how hard I was working to get caught up. She knows me so well! She is the best mom ever!

OK so I had an assignment in school about safety that I had to write answers to the questions. So, for lack of anything else to post, I am going to post the questions and how I responded to them. Although the subject itself may seem boring the questions (and more importantly my answers)are not boring. Let me know what you think about the questions. I also had a similar assignment about the Vietnam Conflict that I will post soon.

Should people be allowed to ski or snowboard without a helmet?

People should be allowed to chose whether or not to wear a helmet. Mainly because it is the right of an individual to decide whether or not they want to risk their neck doing an activity without safety precautions.

Should governments set national laws about ski safety?

Governments should not set laws about ski safety, because unless they are the ones that own the ski businesses or ski lodges they should leave it up to the ski resorts to make their own rules/guidelines. If the people who are at the resort have a problem with the ski resorts "house rules" they can go to another resort that fits their needs.

Should resorts set helmet safety guidelines for their visitors?

I believe that the ski resort should have people sign a document that says that "any injuries due to neglect of safety precaution of the skier is not the liability of the resort" so that the resort can cover their buts in case of a lawsuit.

Is wearing a helmet a personal choice and responsibility?

Yes, it is a personal choice and responsibility. Unless your parents make you wear the helmet because you are to young to have a choice in the matter and too young to know the meaning of responsibility.

#VietnamConflict

Here is the Vietnam Conflict thing. I am writing this while my mom and grandpa are talking and I thought that I could get this done now. Hope you all had a great weekend!

Do you agree with the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam Conflict? Was it necessary?

No, I absolutely do not agree. Many people of that country were perfectly fine with a communist country. It wasn’t necessary to risk endangering civilians by dropping bombs on their homes and getting into a war with them.

Reverse the situation and ask yourself…If some country didn't want our governing style to become popular and spread, would you be fine with them "helping" stop the spread of our government even if they thought they were right to do so?

#Today

Hi! So today I volunteered at the library and someone who was visiting asked if I volunteered there and I said yes and she said thank you to me. Then I probably turned as red as a tomato as I looked away and mumbled thanks. I am sooo akward I burryed my Guinea pig a couple days ago so that was sad but what I wanted to tell you is that when I was burying my guinea pig at my grandmas she asks if she could say a prayer form the bible! This may not seem like a big deal to you but keep listening. OK I am not Christian. My grandmother knows this my whole family knows this. We have had some problems with her overstepping and forcing her religion on me and she knows better. I rarely say stuff to her about her crossing a line because my mom normally does that for me. But this time I just couldn't she said that and when I am burrying my guniea no less and I am crying at the same time. So I told her in a flat voice "Grandma, I am NOT Christian". And if you are thinking "Oh, It just sliped her mind" no it didn't. She knows better. I think this is the first time that I have said that I am not Christian to her face. Other than that I took MCA testing on Thursday last week( I soo failed!)
