This turned out to one of my favourite poems, since I found it on my Birthday!!

I love Romantic poetry.
And John Keats is my favourite poet in the genre.
In the poem Endymion, Keats talks about Nature and the lasting effect of its beauty on mankind.
The poem explains how we cling to the beautiful things in life and how this beauty empowers us to endure the miseries and hardships.
We're shown that human beings are optimistic creatures by birth and are greatly aided by the Nature in keeping up the optimism.
The daffodils, the sun, the moon, the rills are all but a part of the Nature as we know it.
And the poet draws inspiration from them.

The Tyger is a popular poem and it's my favorite. Stereotypical, I know, but it's beautiful and I like it.

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!
When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

The main question here is did he who make good, make evil? Why can there only be good? Is evil natural, or is it created by man? Why is it so beautiful, tempting, yet dangerous? Can they exist alone, or is coexistence necessary?! WHO KNOWS?!

This is my Lockdown Poem which I wrote. Not the best poem but I mean Hey its alright I guess.

Lockdown
I've been stuck at home,
In isolation,
I'm eating some honeycomb,
And I got to take my medication,

Staying snug and warm,
Sitting in my hammock,
Listening to the storm,
Looking at the panoramic,

Drinking some coffee,
Reading a book,
Then eating some toffee,
And drawing in my notebook,

Singing to the music,
Talking to my toys,
Feeling slightly sick,
Missing the loud noise

I feel so lonely,
Not in the mood to dance,
Is it me only,
Wanting to go back to France,

Think about the happy times,
So don't worry,
Don't count your dimes,
Cheer for Steph Curry,

We're all with you,
We can work together,
So don't be blue,
And look at the beautiful weather.

Without Love
There is no sun on heavenly arch,
No breezes blow, woods give no start
With joy …
Without love there’s
Neither beauty,
Nor immortality there is
Without love.
But, oh, so different is
Love, the latest love.
Same as autumnal bloom,
Often better than the primal one.
It never calls for stormy,
Savage passions,
Or youthful zeal, for voice outloud
It never calls …
Grown shy and wild
In autumn cold,
Spring’s tender blossoms
It resembles not …
In place of breeze
Storm’s fondling it,
In place of flame caress so quiet
It rounds up.
And withers, withers
Love, the latest love,
It withers wistful, soft,
With doleful charm.
And there’s on earth
No immortality itself,
No immortality itself there's on the earth
Without love!!!

We all must have heard Robert Frost's name at least once. He takes inspiration from Nature and uses their symbolic meanings in his poems, and convey important morals to us. The following poem is called Fire and Ice.

Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
